So much happening in the city... Let's see: 1.) Bouncer committing rape-murder, 2.) Bouncer beating a patron with a blunt object, 3) Kids getting shot, 4.) Cops and civilians getting shot with threats of retaliation back at the police, 5.) Bodyguard getting shot, 6.) Stabbing spree in the subways, 7.) An attempted robbery of an ATM machine by blowing it up. The list goes on.
On a personal note I have had to: 1.) Stop a guy from beating his girlfriend, 2.) Figure out why someone would want to go toe-to-toe with me when I'm trying to mind my own business (literally walking to work) and then neutralize the situation, 3.) Avoid being in the crossfire of a bumfight waiting for the F train (one had a broken beer bottle), 4.) Stop a woman from beating her grandchildren, and 5.) Being assaulted by a transient in the subway yet found a non-physical means of ending the altercation (thanks y'all for helping me understand the force continuum). Luckilly for me, my training has kept me from getting hurt or worse, and all I really want is to have a good time. You just gotta love New York!
